The story of one dream
How was the Passion Clock created?
Hello! My name is Marek Gacek. Mam 43 lata, pochodzę z Polski i jestem szczęśliwym mężem i ojcem.
On a daily basis, I work in programming and computer graphics. For years, my work and life revolved around worldly matters, and I myself—to put it bluntly—was mainly focused on myself. Everything changed one night when I was 31 years old.
I had a dream about Jesus. It was not an ordinary dream, but an experience that shook my life. I heard words that still echo in my head today:
„Look how much I've given you. You have everything you wanted, and you can't share it. Start sharing, and you'll see—you'll have even more.”
I woke up as a different person. I realized that selfishness leads nowhere, and that the true meaning of life is found in serving others. I began to look for a way to use what I do best for the glory of God.
I came across Luiza Piccarreta's book „The Clock of the Passion.” In it, I read Jesus' promise: If they ponder them together with Me and with the help of my own Will, I will give them a soul for every word they read.. I did a quick calculation: the book has about 30,000 words. If we gathered a group of 24 people, we could „read” the entire Passion together in 24 hours.
On August 14, 2020, I created a small, closed Facebook group, hoping that I would be able to gather those 24 people. The reality exceeded my wildest expectations. Within 5 years, over 2,600 people. These are thousands of souls who can be saved thanks to this prayer.
Today, I use my professional skills—as a programmer and graphic designer—to help this work grow and spread throughout the world. The website 24passion.org, the automatic hour rotation system, and the prayer maps were all created to help us remain close to Jesus.
I am not doing this for profit. It is my response to that call from years ago. However, if you feel in your heart that you would like to support the development of this work (e.g., by paying for servers or advertising to reach new people), please write to me.
I ask you to pray for me and my family, and I promise to pray for each of you.
God bless you,
Marek Gacek
