How to join in constant prayer

The Rules of the Clock of Torment

PROCESS

Step 1: Your Assignment

You are given one fixed hour of contemplation (e.g., the Third Hour of Jesus' Passion).

Step 2: Duration

You pray this hour every day for 24 days (at any time of day)

Step 3: Change (Rotation)

After 24 days, the whole world moves one step further. Your new time is 4.

What should I do every day?

„When the soul does these Hours, the Angels wait with adoration to hear what the soul will say, and they pray together with her. (...) They keep watch at her lips so that they can immediately repeat everything she has said and bring it before My Majesty.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Don't worry. Jesus looks at the intention. If you forgot, say it when you remember, or offer Him an act of love and apology. There is no „sin” here, it is an act of love.

No. The idea behind the Clock is to sanctify everyday life. You can meditate on the Passion while driving to work, cooking dinner, or going for a walk. Luiza Piccarreta wrote that Jesus wants us to bring Him into our lives.

The system operates in 24-day cycles. If you have joined, you will receive information at the start. We will notify you of each rotation (change) by email (on the morning of the rotation), and you can also check the „clock participants” table on the website by entering your first and last name.

Of course. Prayer is a gift of free will. If you feel that you are unable to do it, write to us (via the contact form) and we will free up your hour for someone else.

The text for a given hour (e.g., 5:00-6:00 p.m.) is always the same. Your hour changes (every 24 days), so you learn successive fragments of the Passion, going through the entire Way of the Cross in a two-year cycle.

You don't have to read. We understand that everyone has a different daily routine, which is why we provide audio recordings. You can listen to them at your leisure—for example, on your way to work or while out for a walk—instead of reading the text on the screen.
